The Boom Site Magazine is now multi-media!
In addition to poetry, short stories, narrative essays, screenplays, plays, photos, drawings, and paintings, the Boom Site also accepts submissions for original songs, short films, video readings and spoken word. A selfie, a sentence and a submission is all it takes for your work to be considered for the new 2019 multi-media version or print anthology of The Boom Site Literary Magazine. Students in grades six through twelve: send your original creative endeavors our way for consideration to be included in Volume 3, issue 2. Check out how you can submit your writing or visual art to the Boom Site Literary Magazine.

Interested in becoming an editor for the Boom Site? Want to help select submissions for our magazine? We are adding an additional prose, poetry and visual arts editor, and we’d love for you to be involved! In addition to putting together a literary magazine, work together as a team to create an original short story.
Starting in 2020, we will publish two issues a year:
A digital, multi-media issue published at the end of February as a part of our StoryArk Network Live! event
A printed anthology that comes out at the end of July and is revealed (and sold) at our StoryArk Festival
Boom Site staff will also publish three digital newsletters:
December: visual arts
In addition, as a part of staff meetings, editors will work together to compose a story in the fall (to be shared at StoryArk Network Live!), and a poem in the spring (to be shared at the StoryArk Festival), that would also be published in the magazine.
Meetings take place on the second Saturday of each month, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at StoryArk (402 N Main St, #350, Stillwater):
December 14 – Holiday Party 🙂
January 12 – Release Party of 2019 Anthology
