Steph and De slip out of the studio and on to the streets of Stillwater to cover the Veterans Day celebration. While they wait for the gun salute, Steph tells De about Stillwater Area High School’s comedy 39 Steps and they listen in to an interview with director Grif Sadow and actors Wyatt and Ava. Back at the Veterans Memorial, a moving invocation reminds De and Steph about the importance of the day.  In the last half of the show, student host Noah interviews Walter and Pearl, veterans living at the Good Samaritan Society who both served in World War II. Expressions of gratitude and an opportunity to support Toys 4 Military Kids round out the episode. Special thanks to Stillwater Motors, Jeff Riegle of Waddel & Reed and the Judd Orff  and Cameron Kelly families for making this show possible.

Next week on Voices in the Valley: Holly Corbid of Capture Your Photos shares tips on gathering family photos to enjoy and to save and Steph interviews senior citizens at Oak Meadows as they reminisce.  Voices in the Valley is broadcast every Saturday morning at 10:00 on The Club 1220.
