Our family stories matter. They help us remember who we are, where we came from and why it is important. During this episode of Voices in the Valley’s “How to Capture your Family Stories and Preserve your Family Legacy” series, Brenda Hudson from Voiced Life details how to use old photographs to unlock memories and gives ideas on organizing and remembering family stories. Student host Adam interviews eighty year old  Jerry Ryan who reminisces about Babe Ruth, taking an unauthorized dive in the high school pool, working at the Territorial Prison, and playing on the Loggers baseball team with Bud Grant.

Next week on Voices in the Valley, our “How to Capture Your Family Stories and Preserve Your Family Legacy” series continues as Steph interviews SWALLOW THE OCEAN author Laura Flynn on finding the common thread in the family narrative and student host Emma interviews grandpa Gary.  Voices in the Valley can be heard every Saturday morning at 10:00 on KLBB 1220 AM.
