In this episode of our on-going series “How to Capture your Family Stories and Preserve your Family Legacy”, Mark Jensen from Images of the Past provides tips on how to save discolored photos found within vinyl albums; and, Holly Corbid of Capture Your Photos continues the conversation by explaining how to sort and organize photos so that the task is a meaningful, and not an overwhelming, project. In the second half of the show, student host Rebecca explores how to write a memoir with Gloria and Otto VanDemmeltraadt.

Next week on Voices in the Valley,  9th grader Grace reads a lovely narrative about her grandfather and student host Eric interviews Washington County Historical Society’s Brent Peterson on how to intertwine history and a sense of place within one’s family story. Voices in the Valley can be heard every Saturday morning at 10:00 on KLBB 1220 AM.
