CONNECT with professional artists who will
IGNITE your passion for storytelling and open doors to your future
Join us for a three week storytelling camp where high school creatives from across the state dive deep into the art of storytelling and connect with professional artists from around the world! Expand your skills, collaborate with peers, and create original stories in your medium of choice, including podcast, film, creative writing, and songwriting.
Location: In person camp Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursdays at Stillwater Area High School with hybrid connection via zoom to students from across the state and to locally and nationally recognized artists.
Date: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays July 11th to the 27th, 2023
Transportation available (dependent on school district participation). Tuition is free to students from participating districts.

Catalyst exists to advance the literary and visual arts by generating long-term professional career opportunities for storytelling artists.

Students participate for free in our camps thanks to a combination of grant funding, school district achievement and integration dollars, and individual contribution by generous donors.
This activity is funded, in part, by an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund
The Fine Print
You have questions. wE have answers.
Some StoryArk programming is currently held online via Zoom, and in virtual platforms via HUBZ MOZILLA VR Galleries. StoryArk staff and Emerging Professionals have been trained to effectively utilize these new technologies and how to safely monitor activities. All online sessions will also be recorded (including chat conversations) for the safety of the student and adult mentors alike, and will be stored internally. These recordings may be used to create promotional materials, staff training materials, etc. These recordings are not readily available to the public, but may be made available upon request depending on the reason by which it is needed to protect other students attending.
StoryArk expects all students and adult leaders to adhere to their current Code of Conduct. You may find our current policies and codes of conduct here.
If you need financial assistance for classes, we have scholarships available to all students on request. Please let us know before you register for classes so that we can give you a coupon code for check out where applicable.
