Scene 1 :Hello!
VOICE IN BACKGROUND
There once was a world full of magic. Some used it for good, some for bad. And all of the magic came from one thing: The Orb of Magic.
(The curtain opens)
(James is walking across the stage)
(Ethan apears )
ETHAN
Hey! What’s up James?
JAMES
Oh, Hi, Guess what I can do! Watch this!
(James puts his hands out and makes a random ball float in the air)
ETHAN
That’s cool, Telekinesis! Look what I can do!
(Ethan puts his hands on his head as if reading James mind)
JAMES
Blue. Ethan, did you just read my mind?
ETHAN
Obviously,
( James and Ethan walk into a coffee shop)
ETHAN
I wonder what that worker is thinking about.
JAMES
Why don’t you find out? You’re the one here who has mind reading.
(Ethan puts his hands on his head as if reading the workers mind)
ETHAN
Huh , that’s strange.
JAMES
What did you read?
ETHAN
Nothing (said quickly)

JAMES
It’s okay, you can tell me.
ETHAN
No, I Didn’t read anything. Like I was losing my power, like I don’t have it.
JAMES
That’s weird.
(James puts his hands out and tries to move a cup)
That’s really weird.
(Ethan and James walk out of the stage)
End of Scene 1
Scene 2: the disappearance
(Alex, Mr Arno, Guards 1&2, and Police 1&2 enter and are talking in a group)
GUARD 1
Mr. Arno, we are so sorry to inform you but the Orb of Magic has gone missing.
MR. ARNO
How?
GUARD 2
When we weren’t looking, someone must’ve swiped it.
MR. ARNO
Do you know who might’ve done it?
GUARD 1
We have reason to suspect Mr. Erious is the one behind the crime.
MR. ARNO
You mean Mr. Erious, the one we just let out of jail?
GUARD 2
I’m afraid so.
GUARD 1
Oh yes, and Alex, you must wonder why you’re here.
(Alex nods)

We brought you here because you and your group were the ones who originally caught Mr. Erious for his crimes. So, Alex, do you think that you are up to the challenge of collecting the Orb?
ALEX
Yes.
GUARD 2
Alright then, make sure to tell your group about this to help us.
MR. ARNO
Alex, make sure to alert the police immediately as soon as you have the orb. And, you should talk to that scientist Dr. Red. She’s the one who created the Orb of Magic.
ALEX
Got it.
POLICE 1
We will also be on the hunt for Mr. Erious while Alex fetches the Orb.
End of scene 2
Scene 3: Realization
(Mr. Arno, Guards 1&2 and Police 1&2 walk off stage)
(Ethan and James enter)
(Alex waves to Ethan and James)
ALEX
Hey! Ethan, James!
ETHAN and JAMES
Hi! (in sync)
ALEX
Did you hear- (smacks face)-of course you didn’t
ETHAN
-Hey listen the craziest thing just happened
JAMES
-Yeah our powers stopped working and
ETHAN
-I think that
ALEX
-THE ORB GOT STOLEN!

ETHAN and JAMES
WHAT? (in sync)
JAMES
The Orb of Magic got stolen!?
ALEX
Yeah, the mayor Mr. Arno sent us three to go retrieve the orb.
ETHAN
Who stole it?
ALEX
Mr. Erious. The police let him out and he stole the orb. Mr. Arno told us to go see Dr. Red: the scientist who made the orb of magic.
JAMES
Okay, let’s go see that “Dr, Red”
End of scene 3
Scene 4: to the doc.
(they walk to a science lab)
(Alex knocks on the door)
(Dr. Red opens the door)
DR. RED
Hello, what brings you three here today?
ALEX
We’re here to talk about the Orb of Magic.
DR. RED
I suppose you’re the ones who are supposed to find the Orb?
JAMES
Yep.
DR. RED
If that’s so, come in and have a seat.
(The enter and have a seat but Ethan wanders around the lab)
ALEX
What a nice laboratory you have.

DR. RED
Thank you.
ALEX
So, how did you create the orb of magic?
DR. RED
It started with a few crystal rock discoveries on the moon and
ETHAN
What’s under this?
DR. RED
No, don’t touch that!
(Ethan lifts a tarp and underneath is a time machine with a very large sign saying time machine) ETHAN
Awesome! A time machine!
ALEX
You have a time machine!?
DR. RED
Uhmm yes……… -But it’s a work in progress!!
ETHAN
You sure? Because it says here that it’s finished.
DR. RED
Fine. you caught me. It’s finished.
JAMES
I got an idea! What if we go back in time and stop Mr. Erious!
ALEX
You know, that’s not a bad idea…
ETHAN
I’ve always wanted to time travel!
DR. RED
Okay! Okay! But I’m controlling since I’m the only one who knows how to work this thing. Come in.

(they all get in the time machine)(Dr. Red pressed some buttons)(a flash as they travel back in time)
End of scene 4
Scene 5: back in time
DR. RED
Here we are
JAMES
Okay Let’s go!
ALEX
Wait! First we have to make a plan!
(Alex takes out a piece of paper)
So, Dr. Red, you will stay here with the time machine and keep it safe.
(Alex turns to James and Ethan)
ETHAN
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, aren’t we supposed to get the orb? Not Mr. Erious. So why don’t we just grab the orb?
JAMES
Yeah that’s a better idea!
ALEX
Okay so are we doing that instead?
ETHAN
Sure.
ALEX
Okay so James, you will distract the guards and Ethan and I will go get the orb. Okay let’s go. End of scene 5
Scene 6: James part of the plan
(they go to the castle of the orb and Guards 1&2 are there)
ALEX
okay let’s stick to the plan
(Alex and Ethan leave the stage Guards 1&2 enter)
(James walks over to Guards 1&2)

JAMES
Hi guards of the Orb of magic
GUARD 2
Hello?
GUARD 1
What do you want?
JAMES
Uhh, I’m just bored and want to chat. Wait, who’s that over there?
(Mr. Erious enters and walks across the stage)
GUARD 2
That’s Mr. Erious.
James
What!?
(James walks over to Mr. Erious)
(Guards 1&2 leave)
Hey! What do you think you’re doing!
MR. ERIOUS
Buying groceries?
JAMES
You’re supposed to be in jail!
MR. ERIOUS
Ohhhh, today the Police let me out because my sentence was over. You probably think I escaped did you?
JAMES
But you’re supposedly going to steal the Orb of Magic!
MR. ERIOUS
You know my name is very mysterious, but me? Steal the Orb! No one in their right mind would do that! That jail that I was in was TERRIBLE! It taught me a lesson to not use my power for bad. So no. I’m not going to steal the Orb! I don’t want to go back to that place!
JAMES
Oh…(Mr. Erious leaves) kay.(James leaves the stage)

Scene 7: Alex and Ethan’s Part
(Alex and Ethan walk in a room)
ETHAN
Time to go Orb hunting.
ALEX
Found it!
(Alex points at the orb with the obstacle of many lasers)
…And all we have to do is get past that…
ETHAN
Ladies first.
ALEX
Ugh fine.
(Alex takes her first few steps)
Okay not too hard
( Alex weaves her way through the lasers)
Easy!
(Alex grabs the orb and the lasers disappear)
Well that’s even easier the lasers are probably magic powered
ETHAN
Okay let’s go before they notice the Orb’s gone
( Guards 1&2 enter as Alex and Ethan are at the door of the outside)
ALEX
Where’s James?(whispered)
ETHAN
I don’t know?(whispered)
ALEX
Go distract the guards and meet me at the lab and bring James with you.
(Ethan goes to the guards)
ETHAN
Hi, have you seen a guy named James?
(Alex runs out of the stage and everyone leaves the stage)

scene 8: back to the future

(Alex, Dr.Red, Ethan, and James enter and are in the lab)
JAMES
I’m ready to go back
ALEX
Yep me too I’ve got the Orb.
DR. RED
Okay then let’s go!
(they all get in the time machine)(a flash as they go to the future)
ALEX
Let’s go give the guards the Orb.
JAMES
And I want to also tell them something.
(Alex, James, and Ethan leave the lab and Mr. Arno, Mr. Erious, Guards 1&2 and Police 1&2 enter and Police 2 is holding Mr. Erious hostage )
ALEX
Guards, Here is the Orb of Magic.
GUARD 1
Thank you Alex.
JAMES
Oh! And officer, I figured out that it wasnt Mr. Erious ewho stole the orb………. It was…. Dr. Red wanted to check on the orb to make sure it was working right.
POLICE 2
Oh uhm, Sorry Mr. Erious for the misunderstanding you may go now.
MR. ARNO
Thank you three for helping us have a good day!
