John Morogiello is Artistic Director of Best Medicine Rep Theater Company and has several plays published by Samuel French. He’s won numerous awards for his plays including The Kennedy Center Fellowship of the Americas, Holland New Voices Playwright Award (Great Plains Theatre Conference), and Mountain Playhouse International Comedy Playwriting Award. Baltimore Magazine named him the “Best Up and Coming Playwright.” His film adaptation for Men and Parts won the Best Short Comedy at the 2003 New York Independent Film and Video Festival and was distributed in Europe by Britshorts. Mr. Morogiello is a frequent contributor to Flagpole Radio Cafe, and his articles have been published in The Washington Independent Review of Books, American Theatre, Dramatics, and in programs and study guides for regional theaters and playhouses.
